Beyond core banking inquiries about accounts and spending habits, Finn can now act as a virtual travel companion. Users can leverage Finn’s knowledge of user reviews to discover recommended cafes, restaurants, and bars in new cities. This expansion positions Finn as a valuable extension of the bunq app, streamlining user experience and offering a more comprehensive financial and travel resource.
Streamlined Travel Insurance with Worldwide Coverage
bunq’s expansion into travel insurance marks a significant step towards their goal of becoming a full-service neobank for digital nomads. Addressing the common challenge of repeatedly purchasing travel insurance for each trip, bunq now offers automatic worldwide coverage for users subscribed to the Easy Bank Pro XL plan. This feature requires a one-time activation, providing continuous coverage for all future travel. The insurance, facilitated by Qover, a global embedded insurance provider, covers car rentals, dental emergencies, and loss of personal items, offering up to 1 million euros in protection. Claims can be filed conveniently within the bunq app via a dedicated link to Qover.
