Credit Union of America (CUA), headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, has announced a strategic partnership with NCR Atleos to significantly expand its ATM network and enhance cash access services for its members.
This expansion involves CUA joining NCR Atleos’ Allpoint Network, which encompasses 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs. As a result, CUA’s ATM network now exceeds 85,000 locations, surpassing the combined network size of Chase and Bank of America.
The collaboration aims to eliminate ATM fees and increase banking convenience for members. CUA members can now perform transactions securely at numerous familiar locations, including Walgreens, Target, and CVS.
Dan Umscheid, VP of Payments Solutions and Strategy at CUA, remarked, “Our goal with this expansion is to offer meaningful physical interactions even in the absence of a branch, while ensuring reliable, surcharge-free access to cash. Partnering with Atleos provides a cost-effective and convenient way to connect with members through trusted retail locations, thereby enhancing our national presence and member relationships.”
CUA’s latest partnership follows recent collaborations by other US financial institutions, such as Seacoast Bank and VyStar Credit Union, which are also part of the Allpoint Network.
