RBC Extends TIFF Partnership as Toronto Film Festival Returns with Red–Carpet and Industry Events

The bank is marking its 19th year as a major Toronto International Film Festival partner, bringing back RBC House, the RBC Red Carpet Gallery and the TIFF Black Excellence Brunch.
Royal Bank of Canada is returning to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) as a major partner for the 19th consecutive year, renewing a series of initiatives focused on film, cultural connection and opportunities for creators.
A central part of RBC’s TIFF presence will again be RBC House, which will serve as a gathering place for film and industry events during the festival. Based at Petros82 in Toronto’s Entertainment District, the venue will host activities surrounding some of TIFF’s high–profile premieres. The venue will also once again accommodate the Los Angeles Times Studio presented by RBC, entering its fifth year. The studio provides space for interviews, photography and other content featuring filmmakers, actors and other festival participants.
For movie fans, the RBC Red Carpet Gallery will return to David Pecaut Square at 215 King Street West, alongside the Roy Thomson Hall red carpet. The activation gives eligible Avion Rewards members an opportunity to watch celebrities arrive for Gala premieres from a prime viewing area. Avion Rewards Elite and Premium members can reserve spaces ahead of time through RBC’s TIFF registration site, with places available on a first–come, first–served basis. Avion Rewards Select members and members of the general public can use a same–day rush line, subject to capacity. Attendees will also have access to a swag bag while supplies last and an opportunity to win 25,000 Avion Rewards points, among other prizes.
RBC is also continuing its support for representation and emerging talent through the TIFF Black Excellence Brunch presented by RBC. Now in its fourth consecutive year, the event brings together members of Canada’s film community and international participants to recognize Black talent and create opportunities for networking and professional development. The bank will additionally serve as an Official Supporting Partner of the TIFF Tribute Awards Gala for a second year. Scheduled for September 13, the gala raises funds for TIFF’s year–round programming and recognizes significant contributions to the entertainment industry.
RBC said its involvement with TIFF forms part of a broader commitment to supporting Canada’s creative community. Its partnership with TIFF also includes support for the Share Her Journey Initiative, which seeks to expand opportunities for women working in screen–based storytelling through greater access to mentorship, visibility and career development.
The 2026 partnership comes as RBC continues to position its cultural investments alongside its broader community initiatives. The bank says these efforts are intended to help creators develop sustainable careers while promoting greater inclusion and opportunity across Canada’s creative sector.
