Singapore FinTech Festival 2024 Attracts 65,000 Participants

The 9th edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) wrapped up successfully on 8 November 2024, drawing an impressive 65,000 participants from 134 countries and regions.  

Key highlights from SFF 2024 included:   

– Insights Forum: This exclusive event brought together over 2,300 policymakers, regulators, investors, and industry leaders for 40 roundtable discussions. Topics spanned from the future of financial infrastructure to strategies for achieving global net-zero goals. 

– Regulation Zone: Over 3,400 government and regulatory representatives from 665 central banks and institutions participated, discussing cutting-edge topics such as AI solutions, quantum research in finance, cross-border data flow, and digital asset growth.   

– Technology Zone: A total of 64 sessions explored innovations in AI, quantum technologies, blockchain, and e-commerce & payments, showcasing their tangible impact on the real economy.   

– Founders and Investors Zone: More than 580 meetings between investors and startup founders during Investor Hours sparked new partnerships and capital infusion opportunities.   

– Talent Zone: A highlight for the future of FinTech, this zone delivered 180 mentorship sessions and certifications in partnership with academic institutions, aiming to nurture the next generation of talent.   

– ESG Zone: Gprnt launched its inaugural Disclosure and Marketplace offerings, empowering businesses to simplify sustainability reporting and connect with solutions for their decarbonization journey.   

SFF 2024 was a resounding success, thanks to the contributions of sponsors, speakers, partners, and attendees. As the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary next year, we look forward to another groundbreaking event from 12 to 14 November 2025. The Insights Forum will be expanded to a two-day event on 10-11 November.
