EBANX and Zuora Partner to Expand Payment Options for Subscription Businesses in Latin America and Africa

EBANX, a leading payment solutions provider for emerging markets, and Zuora, a provider of cloud-based subscription management solutions, announced a strategic partnership today. This collaboration aims to empower Zuora’s global customers by facilitating local payment processing in 15 high-growth markets across Latin America and Africa.

The partnership specifically targets Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, South Africa, and Nigeria. It will enable Zuora’s clients, particularly those in the SaaS and recurring revenue space, to accept a wider range of payment methods, including credit and debit cards (both local and international), as well as Pix payments in Brazil.

“This partnership is a significant step forward for Zuora’s global expansion strategy,” said John Phillips, SVP, Global Alliances at Zuora. “Having a trusted local partner like EBANX is instrumental in simplifying market entry and accelerating growth for our customers in these dynamic regions. By integrating EBANX’s solutions, we can equip them with the essential payment options needed to thrive in Latin America and Africa.”

This initiative aligns with the projected surge in digital services across these regions. According to Payments and Commerce Market Intelligence (PCMI) data, Latin America’s digital services market is poised for a 30% annual growth rate, reaching a projected value of USD 271 billion by 2026. Similarly, the Beyond Borders study highlights Africa’s SaaS sector as the fastest-growing digital commerce segment, with a projected CAGR of 25% by 2026, exceeding the global average.

“Latin America offers immense potential beyond established powerhouses like Brazil and Mexico, while Africa is on the cusp of a digital commerce boom,” said Gregory Cornwell, VP of Global Channels & Business Development at EBANX. “We are thrilled to partner with Zuora and extend our technology and solutions to their vast merchant base. Furthermore, we aim to collaboratively connect these players to the boundless potential within Latin America and Africa’s digital landscapes.”

This partnership underscores EBANX and Zuora’s commitment to providing global businesses with the most advanced and comprehensive solutions to navigate the complexities of subscription management and payment processing in emerging markets.
