Florida-based Achieva Credit Union has announced the appointment of Eric Jenkins as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2025. Jenkins will succeed Gary Regoli, who is retiring after 17 years of dedicated leadership.
With over three decades of experience in the credit union industry, Jenkins brings a wealth of expertise in advocacy, operations, lending, marketing, product development, finance, and human resources. Prior to joining Achieva, he served as CEO at SRP Federal Credit Union in South Carolina and previously held leadership roles at Education Credit Union in Texas and Georgia United Credit Union.
Janet Cantees, Chairperson of the Board at Achieva, expressed confidence in Jenkins’ leadership, stating, “Eric’s extensive experience and visionary approach make him the ideal leader to guide Achieva into its next chapter. His commitment to member service and community values aligns perfectly with our mission.”
Jenkins steps in following Regoli’s remarkable tenure, during which Achieva expanded to serve nearly 195,000 members across 26 branches and strengthened its reputation as a trusted financial partner. Reflecting on his retirement, Regoli remarked, “It has been an honor to lead Achieva. I am confident the credit union will continue to thrive under Eric’s leadership.”
Founded in 1937, Achieva Credit Union manages over $2.9 billion in assets and continues to offer a comprehensive range of financial products and services for individuals, students, and businesses.
The national search for Achieva’s new CEO was facilitated by D. Hilton Associates.
