OpenText has introduced a new suite of AI-powered cybersecurity capabilities as part of its Cloud Editions (CE) 25.4, empowering enterprises to securely embed artificial intelligence across their operations. The enhancements aim to unify defences across identity, data, applications, and operations, creating a resilient and trusted foundation for AI-driven digital transformation.
The new offerings — including OpenText Core Threat Detection and Response, Core Identity Foundation, Application Security Aviator, and Data Privacy and Protection — are designed to streamline security workflows, enforce governance, and ensure compliance while strengthening enterprise confidence in AI adoption.
Muhi Majzoub, Executive Vice President, Security Products at OpenText, emphasized the balance between speed and safety:
“Enterprises want to harness the speed of AI without sacrificing security. We’re giving security and IT teams the tools to work faster, smarter, and with greater confidence by unifying identity, closing gaps in application security, and enhancing managed detection and response capabilities.”
The Core Identity Foundation introduces a Zero Trust, SaaS-based approach to identity and access management, simplifying authentication across on-premises, cloud, and legacy systems while advancing OpenText’s Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) strategy.
Meanwhile, Application Security Aviator 25.4 integrates AI-powered automation into software development pipelines, enabling developers to fix vulnerabilities within minutes and embed security directly into DevSecOps workflows.
Core Threat Detection and Response enhances threat visibility using behavioural analytics within SOCs, while Data Privacy and Protection delivers advanced encryption for data at rest, in transit, and during AI model training. Complementing these tools, OpenText’s Managed Security Services provide Managed Extended Detection and Response (MxDR) and PCI-DSS attestation, helping organisations stay compliant while minimizing operational overhead.
With this release, OpenText reinforces its position as a leader in secure AI enablement, ensuring enterprises can accelerate digital innovation without compromising cybersecurity resilience.
