QuickFacts, My Mutual Boost Broker Efficiency with Data Integration

Halifax-based insurtech QuickFacts has announced an expanded partnership with Saskatchewan’s My Mutual Insurance, enabling the insurer’s partnered brokerages to access critical underwriting details through the QuickFacts platform.

The solution replaces manual PDF searches and update requests with instant, searchable access to carrier data, allowing brokers to quote more accurately and reduce rework. According to QuickFacts’ manager of strategic partnerships, Ken Sedgewick, the integration can cut underwriting calls by up to 50%, saving time and costs while improving service.

Leveraging AI and blockchain technologies, QuickFacts consolidates insurance carrier data into a unified platform. My Mutual’s innovation and operations lead, Jen Harder, described the move as “an investment in our brokers,” aimed at helping them guide clients with greater clarity and confidence.

Founded in 2020 by Jeff and Christy Barsalou, QuickFacts has secured partnerships with over 45 insurance carriers across Canada. The company joined Volta’s Growth Residency in 2022 and closed an oversubscribed $2 million funding round in 2024 led by Sandpiper Ventures.
