BMO, in partnership with Deloitte Canada, has opened applications for its fifth annual BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program, offering a total of $100,000 in funding to ten Canadian women-owned businesses that address at least two United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Each winner will receive $10,000, mentorship from a BMO business advisor, and access to growth resources including workshops, networking opportunities, and a feature on bmoforwomen.com.
Applications close August 19, 2025, with recipients announced in fall 2025. Since its launch in 2020, the program has awarded over $750,000 to women-led enterprises across North America, fostering innovation, economic growth, and community impact.
BMO and Deloitte highlighted the initiative’s role in breaking down barriers for women entrepreneurs, who often face challenges in accessing capital, mentorship, and networks. The program aligns with BMO’s broader commitment to double its support for women-owned businesses, which currently includes over $10 billion in loans to more than 146,000 such businesses in Canada.
