Caseway Becomes First Canadian AI Firm Integrated into Major U.S. LegalTech Platform

Vancouver-based Caseway has made history as the first Canadian AI company to be embedded into a major U.S. legaltech platform, following a landmark integration agreement with AffiniPay, the fintech powerhouse behind LawPay and MyCase.

The deal integrates Caseway’s AI-powered automation tools directly into MyCase, giving thousands of U.S. law firms seamless access to features like automated court form generation, legal document drafting, and workflow management—all without leaving the MyCase ecosystem.

“This marks the beginning of AI-native law firms,” said Alistair Vigier, CEO of Caseway. “We’re embedding automation where lawyers already work, enabling them to focus more on outcomes and less on administration.”

Serving over 245,000 legal and accounting professionals, AffiniPay views the partnership as a strategic alignment to enhance firm efficiency without disrupting existing systems. “Caseway’s approach fits perfectly with our vision of secure, intelligent tools built into MyCase,” noted Kevin Britt, Senior Director of Partnerships at AffiniPay.

The partnership includes revenue sharing, joint marketing, and a dedicated presence for Caseway on the MyCase integrations page—making it a milestone collaboration for cross-border legal tech innovation.

Beyond legal, Caseway builds AI tools for government, academic, and legal sectors, and is developing a free AI-integrated legal research platform. AffiniPay’s expanding portfolio includes LawPay, CPACharge, and CASEpeer.
