Doha, Qatar – July 2025 – Doha Bank has announced the launch of its new API Banking product, marking a major step forward in corporate banking and digital transformation within Qatar’s financial sector. The bank is among the first in the country to roll out Open Banking-enabled solutions specifically designed for transactional and reconciliation services.
The newly introduced API suite enables corporate clients to integrate their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems directly with Doha Bank’s core banking infrastructure. Key features include secure transaction processing, real-time status updates, and automated reconciliation reporting—such as MT940 reports—streamlined directly into clients’ ERP platforms.
Group CEO Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Fahad bin Faisal Al Thani emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative, stating that this innovation represents a significant milestone in Doha Bank’s digitalisation roadmap. “Our API Banking solution offers corporate clients a seamless, secure, and always-connected experience—aligning with our commitment to fintech leadership and Qatar’s broader digital ambitions,” he noted.
