Equiniti (EQ) Appoints Dan Kramer as Chief Executive of Global Shareholder Services

Equiniti (EQ) has announced the appointment of Dan Kramer as the new Chief Executive for its combined Global Shareholder Services division, marking a significant step in unifying EQ’s UK and US shareholder services into a cohesive global business. 

In his strategic role, Kramer will lead efforts to align global delivery platforms, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver seamless solutions for clients, supporting them wherever they are listed. This initiative aims to drive shareholder value and position EQ as the leading global shareholder services provider. 

Bringing over 30 years of financial services experience, Kramer has held senior leadership roles at notable institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and BNY Mellon. His extensive expertise spans global financial services and technology, having successfully led innovative technology organizations in major financial hubs, including Frankfurt, London, and New York, where he currently resides. 

Reporting directly to Paul Lynam, Group CEO, Kramer will also join the Group Board and Executive Committee. Thera Prins, CEO of UK Shareholder Services, and Jo Palmer, CEO of U.S. Shareholder Services, will continue in their current roles under Kramer’s leadership.
