Singapore, November 24, 2023 – The eighth edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) concluded on November 17, 2023, witnessing an unprecedented turnout of 66,000 participants, a notable increase from the 62,000 attendees in 2022. This year, the festival garnered global recognition, with participants representing 150 countries, up from 115 in the previous year. The event featured a distinguished lineup of over 970 speakers.
Key Highlights of SFF 2023:
Regulation Zone: Welcoming more than 2,400 government and regulatory attendees from 530 central banks, regulatory institutions, and other governmental organizations.
Technology Zone: Showcasing 56 sessions that spotlighted advancements in Artificial Intelligence and quantum technologies, highlighting their practical applications in e-commerce and payments.
Founders Zone: Introducing Investor Office Hours, facilitating connections between over 200 investors and 270 startup founders.
Talent Zone: Hosting over 240 mentorship sessions, in collaboration with four Institutions of Higher Learning for certification programs.
ESG Zone: Launching MAS’ Gprnt digital platform, a culmination of Project Greenprint, serving as a baseline for businesses to seamlessly report their ESG information.
Elevandi Insights: An invite-only event on November 14, attracting 1,500 participants and hosting 28 deep-dive roundtables focused on shaping the future of technology adoption in financial services. Key outcomes from each roundtable will be published by the first quarter of 2024.
