Mastercard has unveiled Small Business Navigator, a comprehensive support platform aimed at empowering small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across the United States with access to digital tools, AI-driven insights, cybersecurity support, and financial resources.
The program is designed to deliver “real, actionable support” to business owners, according to Ginger Siegel, Head of Small Business, U.S., at Mastercard. “With Small Business Navigator, we’re delivering a powerful combination of insights, protection and financial tools that help business owners build toward long-term success,” Siegel said in an official press release.
Key Features of Mastercard’s Small Business Navigator:
- AI-Powered Business Mentor: The platform features a chatbot that functions as a digital advisor, offering guidance and mentorship on various business challenges.
- Data-Driven Insights: SMBs can access timely, relevant data from Mastercard’s Economic Institute and SpendingPulse reports, helping them make informed operational decisions.
- Cybersecurity Support: In partnership with RiskRecon, the program provides access to My Cyber Risk, offering personalized cybersecurity assessments and recommendations tailored to each business’s unique risk profile.
- Financial Planning & Virtual CFO Services: Through a collaboration with Biz2Credit, SMBs gain access to virtual CFO tools to manage budgeting, planning, and cost optimization.
- Educational Content: The platform offers resources covering topics like cybersecurity, marketing, and digital transformation, equipping business owners with critical knowledge to stay competitive.
- Marketing Opportunities: Selected businesses may also be featured on Mastercard’s official social media channels, increasing their visibility and brand reach.
This initiative builds on Mastercard’s ongoing commitment to small business empowerment. Earlier this year, the company introduced Business Builder credit and debit cards, specifically designed for entrepreneurs and creators, offering benefits like Easy Savings, ID Theft Protection, and Zero Liability.
Additionally, Mastercard has been expanding its small business ecosystem through immersive experiences and digital enablement platforms like Biz360, which allows financial institutions to offer integrated digital solutions to SMB clients.
With Small Business Navigator, Mastercard is reinforcing its role not just as a payment’s technology provider, but as a holistic partner in SMB growth, delivering practical tools and trusted guidance for every stage of the business journey.
