Griffin Announces Early Access to Foundations, Its BaaS Platform for Embedded Finance

Griffin, the UK’s API-first bank and full-stack Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform, announced today the launch of Foundations, an early access program for companies seeking to embed financial products into their offerings. This follows a successful pilot program with its initial customers.

Foundations is designed for UK-based businesses looking to provide financial services like savings accounts, safeguarding accounts, and client money holding directly through Griffin’s platform. This eliminates the need for intermediaries and empowers companies in industries traditionally underserved by BaaS solutions.

Participants in Foundations will gain access to Griffin’s platform and dedicated support from their team of banking and technology experts. As exemplified by their collaboration with LettsPay, Griffin tailors’ solutions to specific industry needs and compliance requirements.

“We found Griffin at a time when there seemed to be no solution to the banking challenges, we faced in the proptech industry,” said Garrett Foxon, CEO and Founder of LettsPay. “Griffin worked with us to provide a solution that not only benefits our business but potentially solves major issues around holding client money for the entire industry.”

Only a limited number of companies meeting specific criteria will be accepted in the first phase of Foundations. Non-selected companies will be placed on a waitlist and informed of future opportunities such as Griffin scales. A free, all-access sandbox is also available for immediate testing of Griffin’s products.

Foundations participants will enjoy several benefits:

  • Pioneer Advantage: Be among the first to unlock new revenue streams and reduce costs by building directly on an API-first bank, bypassing BaaS middleware.
  • Dedicated Expert Support: Receive guidance from Griffin’s banking, compliance, and technology experts throughout your integration process.
  • Streamlined Banking Operations: Simplify banking complexities for businesses with intricate models or niche regulatory requirements.
  • Product Roadmap Influence: Provide valuable feedback and shape the development of Griffin’s future product offerings.

“We’re seeking mission-driven companies who share our vision for contextual, relevant, and seamlessly integrated financial services,” said David Jarvis, CEO and co-founder of Griffin. “Foundations welcomes businesses dedicated to simplifying their customers’ lives through embedded finance – and we’ve built a bank to empower you to achieve that.”
