Checkout.com Expands into Canada, Strengthening North American Presence

Toronto – July 2025 – Global digital payments leader Checkout.com has officially launched operations in Canada, marking a significant expansion of its North American footprint. The move reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to one of its fastest-growing regions, with North America leading its global growth in 2024.

As part of the Canadian launch, Checkout.com has introduced direct acquiring services to offer merchants enhanced control over transaction data, improved authorization rates, and elevated payment performance. This expansion is supported by the appointment of Zack Levine as Head of Revenue for North America, signaling a strategic push to scale operations and support enterprise merchants across the region.

Checkout.com’s platform enables a single integration point for access to a broad suite of pay-in and payout capabilities—including cards, bank rails, digital wallets, PayPal, Venmo, and Pinless Debit. Its global client roster includes brands like eBay, Klarna, and GE Healthcare, and the company continues to open new offices, including a recent location in San Francisco, to meet growing demand.

The company also recently partnered with ASOS to streamline checkout experiences and improve acceptance rates across key markets, underscoring its mission to drive merchant success through advanced payment infrastructure and long-term partnerships.
