Fintech lender Yendo has named a legal executive with experience at Capchase and MoneyLion as it continues expanding its credit products and leadership team.
Yendo has appointed a former legal executive from Capchase and MoneyLion as its new General Counsel, adding another senior leader as the company expands its consumer lending platform.
The Dallas-based fintech said the appointment is intended to support its next phase of growth as it broadens its portfolio of credit products and scales its operations. The new General Counsel brings experience advising fast-growing financial technology companies on legal, regulatory, corporate governance, and commercial matters.
According to the company, the executive previously held senior legal roles at Capchase and MoneyLion, where they worked on issues including regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and strategic business initiatives. Yendo said that background will help strengthen its legal and compliance capabilities as it continues introducing new financial products.
The appointment follows several recent moves by Yendo to expand its leadership team and product offerings. Earlier this year, the company launched an unsecured credit card and also recruited senior product and marketing executives from Nubank and OnePay, reflecting a broader effort to accelerate growth and invest in AI-driven lending technology.
Yendo, founded in 2021, initially became known for its vehicle-secured credit card, which allows eligible consumers to use their vehicle as collateral to access revolving credit. The company has since expanded its offerings to include additional secured and unsecured lending products aimed at consumers who have traditionally faced limited access to affordable credit.
Company leadership said strengthening the legal organization is an important part of supporting continued product innovation, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth.
